Sources & editorial policy

An entity needs a traceable source and a distinct purpose in the encyclopedia. The initial roster comes from the live official English Field Notes checked on October 29, 2026. Names, classes and weapon affinities are recorded separately from interpretations of how to play.

The site is curated by its editors. It has no public edit queue or automatic news feed. A date on a page is an editorial review date, not a promise of continuous monitoring.

Official source means the linked publisher page supports the stated fact. Pre-launch reporting means the source predates or does not demonstrate the live release. Editorial practice notes are suggestions and inferences, not tested outcomes. Unknown means the necessary evidence is absent.

Beta footage can explain vocabulary and illustrate a move. It cannot establish current damage, recruitment odds or an optimal team after launch. Every beta-specific claim must retain its source and date; unverified numerical claims are withheld.

Game art is sourced from the official Monster Hunter Outlanders website and credited to CAPCOM / Proxima Beta, with TiMi identified as developer. The public media manifest records original URLs and retrieval dates. Original line icons and the wiki layout are separate from game artwork.

YouTube videos come from the official English channel. The player is loaded only after you press the video button. External embeds may be unavailable in some regions.

Send editorial corrections to support@mhoutlanders.online. Include the affected page, a primary source, game version and region. Do not send passwords, payment details or game-account credentials. Official game-account support is a separate service.
