Classic and Adventure terminology

Pre-launch systems coverage uses Classic and Adventure for different hunt contexts. This wiki retains those names in its glossary, but does not treat beta party rules, rewards or scaling as a verified launch specification. Read the current mode description before selecting a team.

Release reporting describes solo play and groups of up to four. A four-player hunt, a solo roster and a Buddy slot should not be assumed to use identical composition rules.

Use classes as an index

Assault, Support and Disruptor are the three class labels on the official roster. They are a useful first pass through the database. The individual skill description remains the evidence for what a character actually contributes.

Illustrative role coverage

Editorial notes

Midori, Arkaya and Raya provide one example spanning the three official class labels. This is a reading exercise: compare their resource loops, then decide whether their actual abilities help your encounter. It is not a tested best team, a recruitment recommendation or a requirement to own those characters.

Replace an unavailable character with one whose current skills address the same observed need. Decide the remaining slot only after checking the mode rules.

Planning a first Radiant attempt

Editorial notes

For Radiant Rathian, observe its movement and venom-related attacks before planning around a particular mitigation. For Radiant Anjanath, note the distinction between its flame threat and its interaction with Radiantite. For Radiant Diablos, preserve room to react to its horn line and underground movement.

These prompts follow the official descriptions. They do not establish elemental weaknesses, status immunity, a trap strategy or a tested counter-team.
